Glutathione is an antioxidant tripeptide - the sequence glutamate, cysteine, and glycine - found in every cell. It is one of the primary antioxidants in the body and is widely studied in oxidative-stress, detoxification, and longevity research.

Glutathione is a small peptide made of three amino acids. It occurs naturally throughout the body and is central to how cells manage oxidative stress. Because its role touches cellular protection and aging, it is grouped with the anti-aging and longevity research compounds.

Glutathione ships as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, commonly in larger research vials such as 1500 mg. Before use it is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water; the water volume you add sets the concentration in mg/mL. It is sensitive to light and oxidation, so protect it from light.
Storage & stability
- Lyophilized powder - most stable form; keep frozen or refrigerated and protected from light until reconstituted.
- Reconstituted solution - refrigerate at roughly 2-8 °C; as a general research guideline, use within about 28 days.
